Employ Montana

Montanans have never been afraid of hard work.

But, as many in the modern workforce know, connecting hardworking Montanans with the right employers isn’t always easy – especially in the rapidly changing manufacturing and energy industries.

RevUp Montana was created to close that gap, having formed a unique partnership between the Montana Department of Labor and Industry, 13 of the state’s two-year colleges and local businesses across the state.

The foundation of the program is a set of state-of-the-art, accelerated training opportunities that create workforce-ready graduates trained to meet the needs of Montana’s manufacturing and energy businesses.

Students in RevUp programs earn industry-recognized credentials as they proceed through training, including AWS, NCCER, NIMS, ETA-I and NCRC credentials. These credentials, governed by national industry associations, better ensure the skills students gain essential to students’ success in the workforce. Several businesses have integrated an applicant screening tool, the National Career Readiness Certificate®, into their hiring practices after piloting through RevUp.
